Practical Resources for SENCOs.

Helping students prepare for the experience of the exam room, recognise what might get in the way and discover what could help.

Preparing students for exams involves more than revision and subject knowledge.

For some students, the experience of being in the exam room can bring challenges of its own. Waiting to go in, unfamiliar sounds, other students moving around or worrying about what might happen can all affect their attention.

I've created these resources to help SENCOs and school staff explore those experiences with students before exam day.

Whether you want to begin with a conversation, use a guided audio visualisation or deliver a more structured session, there is a practical starting point here.

Not sure which resource is right for your students?

Every student is different, and what works for one may not be right for another. If you're unsure where to start, or which resource would best support the students you're working with, get in touch and tell me a little about what you're looking for. I'm happy to help you decide.
