Exam Room Ready is a ready-to-deliver student resource designed to help students know what to expect before and during an exam.
The presentation takes students through the exam-room experience step by step — from waiting to go in and finding their seat, to turning over the paper and beginning the exam.
Students are encouraged to think about what might affect their attention, thoughts or ability to settle and focus. They can then use the Exam Room Plan to think about what could help them personally.
The presentation takes approximately 13 minutes to deliver and can be used with whole groups, smaller groups or individual students. The Exam Room Plan can be completed during the session, afterwards or revisited following mock exams.
